Mantras for Entrepreneurs

Designing and producing a deck of ‘mantra’ cards for Distill Ventures.

 

The brief was to create a set of beautifully-designed mantras for young business owners and startups to live by.

​

I started by interviewing a number of entrepreneurs asking for their top tips for startups, then copy writing their advice into catchy phrases. I then worked with a graphic designer to create the overall look and feel, sketching hand-drawn illustrations for each card which she then turned into graphics. Finally I worked with a print company to decide on paper weights, colours and foiling – culminating in one thousand packs being given out at drinks fairs and startup events.
